What an honor it was to perform with jazz great Ken Skinner at The National Ballet of Canada. Karen Kain, Rex Harrington along with all the company dancers, and staff were in attendance. It was a night to remember! Thanks again Ken for giving me the opportunity to lend my voice to your wonderful talent.
Jazz pianist, composer Ken Skinner has been featured in BRAVO videos and three feature length Canadian films. He has appeared on CityTV, CBC evening news several times, and has provided dance interpretation music for The National Ballet of Canada. He is currently in the studio working on his next CD. Ken is a published cartoonist and exhibited painter. If you are interested in exceptional jazz, Ken is the person you will want to hear.
I would like to thank Dr. Seelig for including my work in his latest book entitled “The Perfect Rehearsal”. His book covers all aspects of rehearsal from the preparation, to repertoire, to the performance. An excerpt from my article “Am I Damaging my Voice” was included in his chapter “Vocal Health in Rehearsal”.
Dr. Seelig consulted with some of the finest conductors in the United States about rehearsal technique. I am honored to be included among this esteemed group of music experts. |
